METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AUTHENTICATING SENSOR NODE IN SENSOR NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for authenticating a sensor node in a sensor network are provided to quickly re-authenticate a sensor node in a sensor network when a mobile sensor node is connected to another sync node after initial authentication, thereby saving resources of the sensor node. CONSTITUTION: The third controller of a sensor node receives an HELLO message through the third transceiving unit(201). When a sync node is not a currently connected sync node, the sensor node checks whether an authentication ticket exists in the third storage unit(203,205). When the sensor node includes the authentication ticket, the third controller transmits the stored authentication ticket to the sync node(207). The sensor node receives a new authentication ticket from the sensor node(209).
