<p>PURPOSE: A device for forming side grooves on a thin plate glass is provided to prevent damage to a glass block, since excessive stress is not applied on a glass block. CONSTITUTION: A device for forming side grooves on a thin plate glass comprises a base portion(20), a guide plate(30), a movable plate(40), a vice unit(50), and a machining head unit(70). The guide plate moves along the base portion. The movable plate moves along the guide plate vertically to the traveling direction of the guide plate. The vice unit is installed in the movable plate and fixes a glass block(10). The machining head unit moves along a vertical post unit(60) in the perpendicular direction.</p> |
