PURPOSE: An E-GIS(Environmental-Geographic Information System), and a method for providing the same are provided to perform the modeling of city space in energy consumption unit through the utilization of GIS data. CONSTITUTION: A space modeler(110) creates or receives GIS(Geographic Information System) information. A CIM(City Information Modeling) modeler(120) performs the modeling of an object in order for one object within GIS information to includes space for each energy consumption unit. A mapping module(130) performs the mapping of energy monitoring information and the second geographic space information. A simulation module(140) displays or simulates the energy monitoring information of a certain region.
