HEAT-SHRINKABLE POLYESTER FILM

PURPOSE: A heat shrinkable polyester film is provided to ensure excellent die cutting properties, and to enable easy removal from recycled containers such as glass bottles in hot water. CONSTITUTION: A heat shrinkable polyester film, when heat treated in hot water at 80 deg.C for 30 seconds, has lengthwise and widthwise shrinkage rates of 20% or more, and specific bidirectional uniform constants represented by A = ( MD - MS ) / ( TD - TS ) is 0.25 to 2.5. In chemical formula, A is specific bidirectional uniform constants; MD and TD are elongation at break(%) in longitudinal direction and traverse directions respectively; and MS and TS are tear strength(kg/mm^2) in longitudinal direction and traverse directions.
