PURPOSE: A front side member of a vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve strength by using a high strength steel plate and to protect a driver and passengers. CONSTITUTION: A front side member of a vehicle comprises cross-sections of four closed section shape. The cross-sectional shape is composed of an inner surface(11), a lower surface(13), an outer surface(14) and an upper surface(12). The lower end part of the inner surface is outward curved. The lower end part of the outer surface is upward curved. The groove of the trapezoidal cross-section shape is formed on the inner surface along a longitudinal direction.
