PURPOSE: A Korean keypad, an apparatus for inputting Korean characters, and a method for generating Korean characters are provided to overlap consonants and vowels on twelve keys, thereby improving multiple key input. CONSTITUTION: A keyboard(110) includes a plurality of numeric buttons. Basic consonants and basic vowels are inputted with numeric buttons. A character combiner(120) generates Korean characters corresponding to the basic consonants and the basic vowels. The character combiner generates a consonant having two different consonants, a geminate consonant, ch, k, t, p of Korean letters and a diphthong. |
