PURPOSE: An imbedded permanent magnet type motor is provided to maximize a torque by improving the structure and arrangement of the permanent magnet of a rotor and the teeth of a concentrated winding stator. CONSTITUTION: A concentrated winding stator includes a stator core(11) and a plurality of teeth(13). The plurality of teeth are arranged in the stator core in a columnar direction. A coil is wound in the teeth. Two protrusions(16a,16b) are formed in the leading end of the teeth. The two protrusions are formed to be symmetrical to each other based on the central line of the teeth. A rotor includes a rotor core(21) and a plurality of permanent magnets(22a,22b). The plurality of permanent magnets are buried in the rotor core in a columnar direction. The plurality of permanent magnets are arranged to be symmetrical to each other around the central line of the rotor core.
