PURPOSE: A ball joint is provided to reduce time and costs required for manufacturing and assembling the ball joint by reducing the amount of components. CONSTITUTION: A ball joint comprises a hemispherical socket, a ball stud(20), a ball seat(30), a dust cover(50), and a caulking unit. The hemispherical socket has a groove. A shoe unit is formed in one end of the ball stud. The ball seat is inserted into the socket. The ball seat is moved within a range of the actuating angle of the ball stud. One end of the dust cover is inserted into the socket to be in contact with the top end of the ball seat, and the other end is inserted into the outer surface of the ball stud. The caulking unit fixes one end of the dust cover. |
