PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a current collector for an electrical dual layer is provided to improve pore size and specific surface area by performing alternating current electrolysis etching. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a current collector for an electrical dual layer comprises the steps of: forming an etch pit by pretreating a soft aluminum foil in 5~20% NaOH, 5% phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid and nitric acid; controlling the concentration of AlCl3·6H2O and etching it in electrolyte to which 2~8 M hydrochloric acid and 0.05~2M sulfuric acid are added; supplying power to an aluminum foil by impregnating it in two carbon plates of indirect feeding type counter electrodes; and washing etched foil with 0.1 N or less of nitric acid and drying the etching foil.
