COMPOSITION FOR REDUCING WHITE RUST OF ALUMINUM

PURPOSE: A composition for reducing white rust from aluminum is provided to improve the lifetime of an aluminum product for a vehicle by applying the corrosion resistance, and to offer the washing function to the aluminum product. CONSTITUTION: A composition for reducing white rust from aluminum contains 100 parts of alkali metal metasilicate by weight, and 0.1~20parts of alkali metal hydroxide by weight. The alkali metal metasilicate is selected from either metasilicate potassium and metasilicate sodium. The alkali metal hydroxide is selected from either potassium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide.
