摘要 PURPOSE: An error detection apparatus using a Z-phase pulse signal is provided to detect the misalignment or mis-set of an encoder using the property of the Z-phase signal which is generated per rotation of a rotary axis in an electric motor. CONSTITUTION: An encoder generates an A-phase pulse signal, a B-phase pulse signal, and a Z-phase pulse signal according to the rotation of an electric motor. A counter(100) counts the number of the A-phase pulse signal and the B-phase pulse signal. The counter is reset based on the Z-phase pulse signal. A latch(110) stores and outputs the count value of the counter according to the Z-phase pulse signal. An error verifier(120) verifies the generation of errors based on the output value of the latch.
