PURPOSE: A safety parapet for fire escape is provided to enable people to easily jump down from a boarding gate to a downstairs veranda after the boarding gate has moved to the downstairs veranda. CONSTITUTION: A safety parapet for fire escape comprises support pillars(3,4), a first supporting plate(5), a second supporting plate(6), a support cable, and an extended plate. The support pillar vertically crosses the upstairs veranda(1) of a building and is extended to a downstairs veranda(2). A rail is formed inside the support pillar. The first supporting plate is joint-connected to the both support pillars to be slidable and foldable. The second supporting plate is joint-connected to the first supporting plate to be foldable to the first supporting plate. The extended plate is extended to the inside of the veranda. |
