PURPOSE: A three-piece ball valve for ultralow temperature is provided to ensure convenient connection of the ball valve to a pipeline because adapters on both sides of the valve body can be changed. CONSTITUTION: A three-piece ball valve for ultralow temperature comprises a body(100), adapters(200), a ring-shaped adapter seat(210), a ball seat(310), a lower stem seat(421), and an upper stem sheet. The adapters are screw-coupled to the body. The adapter seat is installed in the joint between the body and the adapters in order to prevent the leakage of fluid. The adapters are attached to the right and left sides of the body so that the ball valve can actively deal with various types of connection to a pipeline or container. The ball seat and the lower and upper stem seats are made of a PCTFE(PolyChloroTri-FluoroEthylene) material so that the ball valve can be used in a ultralow-temperature and high-pressure condition.
