PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for allocation of a reference signal, and a transceiver thereof are provided to classify multiple antenna layers by using a frequency offset or time offset. CONSTITUTION: A CSI(Channel Spatial Information)-RS sequence generator(110) generates CS-RS sequences different depending on each cell by using a CSI-RS which is transferred to acquire the CSI of adjacent cells or central cells through a multiple antenna system. A CSI-RS resource allocator(120) uses the CSI-RS sequences generated by the CSI-RS sequence generator in order to allocate the CSI-RS to other resource elements of a sub-frame for each antenna layer. The sub-frame comprises a time-domain and a frequency-domain.
