PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to secure welding strength with an electrode group and to ensure smooth gas discharge from an end part of an electrode group. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery comprises an electrode group(10) formed by winding a separator with a cathode and an anode formed on both sides of the separator; a case accommodating the electrode group; a cap-plate for sealing an opening formed at one side of the case; an electrode terminal which is installed at a terminal hole formed on the cap plate and extends to the inside and outside of the case; and a lead tab(50) which is connected to the electrode terminal at one side and the electrode group at another one side. |
