SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY ACTUATOR

PURPOSE: A shape memory alloy actuator is provided to use power only when the actuator is operated by providing a stable bias spring structure of two shape memory alloys. CONSTITUTION: A shape memory alloy actuator comprises a first member(110), a second member(120), a first shape memory alloy element(130), a second shape memory alloy element(140), and a spring(150). The first and second members are separated from each other. Both ends of the first shape memory alloy element are coupled to the first and second members. Both ends of the second shape memory alloy element are coupled to the first and second members. The first shape memory alloy element crosses with the second shape memory alloy element.
