PURPOSE: A tunnel lining convergence monitoring system is provided to measure the length variation of tunnel lining and the directivity of the variation as well without additional sensing equipment. CONSTITUTION: A tunnel lining convergence monitoring system comprises an FRP(Fiber Reinforced Plastic) strip(55), FBG(Fiber Bragg Grating) sensors(51), and an optical fiber cable(53). The FBG sensors are attached on a side of the FRP strip at regular intervals in the longitudinal direction. The optical fiber cable connects the FBG sensors.
