PURPOSE: A seat folding type chair and a seat folding unit are provided to reduce costs for manufacturing a chair by decreasing the number of a component such as a shaft member and a bearing member. CONSTITUTION: A seat folding type chair and a seat folding unit is comprised of a first seat(2), one leg(4), link member, and a seat support(7). The link member connects one end to the leg through a leg bracket while connects the other end to the seat through a seat bracket. The seat support is moved to a standing position while being ascended.
