PURPOSE: A pre-payment charging system in a mobile communication terminal and a method thereof are provided to charge a fixed amount of pre-paid costs automatically or by a request of a user. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication provider(30) transmits information which notifies that a charging price of a corresponding mobile communication terminal is smaller than a reference price. A payment service provider(40) pays a desired charging price as pre-paid costs. A pre-payment service provider(20) requests payment for a desired charging price using subscriber information inputted when a subscriber of the mobile communication terminal subscribes to a pre-paid service. The pre-payment service provider automatically charges a pre-paid price by a payment result.
