PURPOSE: A navigation method and system for travelers are provided to help convenient travel by offering accurate information about an object which a user searches for. CONSTITUTION: A navigation system for travelers comprises a mobile terminal(110), an integrated platform(150), an object recognizer(140), and a GEO server(130). The mobile terminal comprises a plurality of sensors for acquiring contextual information of a user and requests search for spatial information to a ubiquitous space. The integrated platform executes space query and administration of geographical space data through the embedded U map. The object recognizer recognizes a search object by being associated with the integrated platform. The GEO server searches geographical information about the recognized object and offers spatial information.
