PURPOSE: A composition containing 3,4-dihydroxybenzalacetone is provided to enhance Nrf-2 activation and to suppress hepatitis with anti-aging and high immunity. CONSTITUTION: A composition used for preventing or relieving disease by enhancing Nrf-2 activation contains 3,4-dihydroxybenzalacetone(DBL). The diseases which can be relieved by enhancing Nrf-2 activation is artery scleroma, hypertension, diabetes, central nervous system disease, skin disease, eye trauma, asthma, cancer, or inflammation, inflammation, or liver injury. A composition for preventing or treating hepatitis contains DBL. The composition is administered in the form of powder, tablet, injection, health food capsule or health beverage.
