The device has a synchronization management module for detecting drift between clocks of two synchronous sub-networks to measure a deviation of a cycle period between the clocks. The module and a synchronous data processing cycle controller adjust cycle period of the former sub-network relative to the detected drift and determine a phase difference between the clocks. An interface module triggers reading of intermediate re-broadcasting memories on one of the sub-networks by using the phase difference as a triggering threshold triggering reading of data received on the other sub-network. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for configuring transmission of data between two synchronous sub-networks (2) a computer program comprising instructions to perform a method for configuring transmission of data between two synchronous sub-networks (3) an information medium comprising instructions to perform a method for configuring transmission of data between two synchronous sub-networks.
