PURPOSE: A camera module is provided to low the whole height of a camera modul thereby accomplishing the miniaturization of the camera module. CONSTITUTION: A housing accepts a lens barrel. A substrate(110) is installed in the bottom part of an image sensor and includes a groove(111). The groove includes a connection terminal(113) connected to a connection member in the bottom side. The connection member is consisted of a solder ball or a bump. A part of the image sensor is inserted inside of the groove.
