PURPOSE: An electric-powered disk brake is provided to enable a pressure member to compress a friction pad with a large force, thereby displaying big braking power. CONSTITUTION: An electric-powered disk brake includes a friction pads(11,12), a carrier(30), a caliper housing(20) and a pressure device(40). The friction pad pressures a disk(10). The carrier supports the friction pad. The caliper housing is supported to be movable at a carrier for pressing the friction pad. The pressing device presses the friction pad. The pressure device has a pressure member(41), a screw shaft(42), a transmission unit(50), a worm wheel(43), and a driving shaft(45).
