The strapping band is introduced through a hole (11) and a supply opening (211) in a band guide web (20) and fed via a conducting opening (221) and another hole (12) for the conveyor belt assembly to perform strapping of an object i.e. package piece. A control device (40) has a control part (41) and a drive part moved vertical to a supply part (21) and another drive part moved vertical to a conduction part (22).
