The thermal pillow (1) has a fabric cover (a) made of tightly woven linen and provided with quilting seams (c) for controlling one-sided accumulation of a direct fill (b) containing carbonate sand i.e. shell bearing limestone sand. A recess for a neck area (d) is present in the fabric cover. The fill is directly attached to the fabric cover. The pillow has a rectangular form with length of 30 cm, breadth of 24 cm and height of 2 cm. The pillow is filled with the sand and provided with a large-area hook-and-loop fastener to form a round effect.
