The method involves determining a control variable (Y) based on a determined set value (Tsoll) of an interior temperature (Tist) and a determined actual value of the interior temperature for controlling an actuator e.g. blower, which influences climatization of an interior of a vehicle. The set value of the interior temperature is determined based on determined heat output (WL), which is exchanged between vehicle occupants and an enclosing area e.g. vehicle roof, in the interior. A correction value (WL-korr) is determined from the determined heat output.
