PURPOSE: A solar cell and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce the generation of leakage current by forming a protective film at the sidewall of a via-hole. CONSTITUTION: At least one via-hole is arranged on a first conductive substrate(110). An emitter part(120) is arranged on the substrate. The emitter part is a second conductive. A first electrode in connection with the emitter part is arranged on the incident surface of the substrate. A protective film(190) is arranged at the rear side of the substrate to opposite to the incident surface of the substrate.
