The pump (10) has a liquid channel (12) provided between a suction region (16) and a pressure region (18). A bursting diaphragm (14) is arranged in the liquid channel and integrated into a valve element of a spring-loaded return valve, which is opened into the pressure region. An overflow groove is provided in a peripheral wall of the channel that extends from a valve seat of the return valve in direction of the pressure region. The groove receives a part of liquid flow after opening the return valve. A pressure limiting valve is arranged to the diaphragm hydraulically.
