The piezoelectric material comprises oxides of lead, strontium, zirconium, titanium, yttrium, niobium and antimony ((Pb aSr b)(Zr cTi d(Y eNb fSb g))O 3), where: the sum of a and b is 0.90-0.98, b is 0.03-0.08, the sum of c-g is 1, the sum of c and d is 0.980-0.998, d is 0.45-0.48, the sum of e and f is 0.001-0.01 and g is 0.001-0.009. The value of b is 0.03-0.07 and the value of a+b is 0.93-0.96. The value of e+f is 0.003-0.008 and the value of g is 0.002-0.008. Independent claims are included for: (1) a multi-layered piezoelectric element; and (2) a method for the production of a multi-layered piezoelectric element.
