PURPOSE: Composition comprising combustion improvers and a method for using the same are provided to use gasoline combustion improvers including organic nitro composition, thereby obtaining an improved ignition characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A gasoline combustion improver includes an organic nitro compound. The organic nitro compound includes 60~80 Kcal/mol C-NO2 bond and dissociation energy of the compound. The organic nitro compound is selected from a group including nitro-aromatic, a heteroatom aromatic ring compound, a heteroatom non-aromatic ring compound, and nitrated furfuryl. The organic nitro compound is not nitrotoluene or denitrotoluene.
