[Class 122 (ii).] Rotary-distributing valves.-In machines for drilling, grinding, &c., wherein radial cylinders m operate a crank c on the end of the spindle a, the distributing valve p is formed as a sleeve around and secured to the spindle, and is provided with slots r, s for controlling the supply to and exhaust from the cylinders. The tool supply to a passage g and an annular supply channel h<1> is controlled by a valve f. A sleeve is preferably arranged around the distributing valve and is fixed to the tool casing. The sleeve is provided with ports k leading to the cylinders and ports n leading to the atmosphere. The passages r, s alternately connect the ports k to the channel h<1> and the ports n respectively.
