The invention relates to a gearbox comprising a shaft bearing being supplied with lubricating oil, wherein the bearing cover of the shaft bearing is provided with oil grooves through which the lubricating oil is fed to the shaft bearing. The oil grooves have branches through which a plurality of shaft bearings can be supplied from a source. In a series of gearboxes, identical bearing covers can be used in different variants of the gearbox having different gear ratio stages.
