The foam body (10) for a brake disc of a vehicle, comprises a foam body area (12) for connecting the foam body with a corresponding friction ring of the brake disc, and a further foam body area (14). Between the form body area and further foam body area, a barrier layer (16) is arranged by which a transgression of casting material is areawisely prevented in the further foam body area during casting the corresponding casting part on the form body area. The foam body is formed as a metal foam body or ceramic foam body. Independent claims are included for: (1) a brake disc of a vehicle with a cast part; and (2) a method for the production of brake disc of a vehicle.
