Class 20(4) A moulding for use with panels comprises at least one base flange, a stem and a head all formed of metal, the head having a curved outer surface to which is adhesively attached a veneer of natural or imitation wood. and also at least one inner surface to constitute with the stem and base flange a recess for receiving the edge of a panel. As shown in Fig. 1, the moulding is of T-section and is secured by nails 50 to a wall 29, the edges of two panels 6 being received under the head 2 the under surface 5 of which is corrugated to grip the panels. Figs. 2 and 3 illustrate mouldings for use at an outside and inside corner of a wall respectively. In a modification of Fig. 3 the head 20 has a concave outer surface. In other modifications of the corner mouldings the base flanges are provided with punched-out lugs,, barbs or springs to grip the edges of the panels. Fig. 5 shows a moulding for use in connecting a wood wall or wood floor with a plaster wall and Fig. 6 illustrates a moulding which may be used as a ceiling cap or as an end cap. |
