ENERGETIC THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE ELASTOMER FOR MELT CAST EXPLOSIVES AND THE METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An energetic thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer for melt cast explosives and a method for preparing the same are provided to ensure a mechanical property used for a binder of a propellant agent for a melt-cast explosive and flowage in 60 ~ 100°C range. CONSTITUTION: An energetic thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer for melt cast explosives comprises a soft segment A including a copolymer of a glycidyl azide polymer and crystalline polyol, and a hard segment B including isocyanate and chain extender. The crystalline polyol has 1500 ~ 4000g/mol or more of molecular weight and 50 ~ 80°C or more melting temperature. The crystalline polyol is selected from the group consisting of poIycaprolactone, poly(ethylene adipate)glycol, poly(butylene-1,4 adipate)glycol, polycarbonatediol.
