The method of manufacturing a composite component (10), comprises applying a zinc diffusion coating on a metallic part (12) of a composite component, and introducing a plastic part (14) on the metallic part of the composite component, where the coating is producible by treating with zinc dust mixture at 300-600[deg] C. The plastic part is molded by injection molding, and introduced on the metallic part by powder coating. The metallic part and the plastic part are directly and firmly connected to each other.
