The system comprises two or more units (112), wherein each unit (112) comprises a compressive resistant insu lating material (104) secured to at least one bad bearing element (110), an intermediate insulating material (102) adapted to be bocated in one or more spaces between said units (112), means (103) for securing the system to the original façade (101).
