The system has an identification-unit i.e. radio frequency identification-tag, provided for clear identification of persons (P1). A sensor determines an actual position of the persons, where a radio frequency identification-reader and a camera (K) are utilized as the sensor. Display devices (D1-D12) e.g. LEDs, represent navigation information based on identification information, destination information and the actual position. The display devices are integrated in movement spaces (GF1) e.g. floors, and display the navigation information, when the persons are found near the display devices. An independent claim is also included for a method for providing personalized navigation information for path guidance.
