The drive device (100) has a drive motor (110) and a linear drive (120) driven by the motor. The drive motor has a stator (150) and a rotor (160). A spindle (122) and a spindle nut (124) are assigned to the linear drive. The spindle is coupled with a converter gear (170) which is designed to convert a translational motion of the spindle into a rotational movement of an assigned driven element (190). The spindle nut is integrated in the rotor of the drive motor. An independent claim is also included for a drive motor for a windshield wiper drive.
