The casing (7) has ventilation openings (14) i.e. slots, provided at upper part of the casing, where operating elements of an electrical appliance i.e. waffle iron, are operably covered by parts of the casing. An inner heat source is provided for heating food, and the casing is designed as heat insulation casing. The casing is detachably attached to a housing of the electrical appliance. The casing is formed as a multipart, and has two layers of different materials. The casing is detachable for cleaning, and outer contour of the casing corresponds to outer contour of the housing.
