The structure (1) has a wheel housing reinforcement member (20) that is vertically arranged in a front wheel housing (2) of a vehicle. An upper end (3) of the reinforcement member carries an internal wheel housing protection plate (5) and strengthens a suspension strut top mounting. A lower end (4) of the reinforcement member is arranged before a front wheel axle in a driving direction. The reinforcement member lower end is fixed at a front axle support (9) of the vehicle by a cross connection element (8).
