According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for measuring the degradation of an electrochemical gas sensor comprises: a first step of comparing (N-1)th voltage measured at an (N-1)th time and N voltage measured at an Nth time; a second step of resetting the numeral stored in a counter to 0 if, as a result of the comparison, the absolute value of the Nth voltage is greater than or equal to the absolute value of the (N-1)th voltage, and increasing the numeral stored in the counter by 1 if, as a result of the comparison, the absolute value of the Nth voltage is smaller than the absolute value of the (N-1)th voltage; and a third step of comparing the numeral stored in the counter with a selected number set on the counter after increasing the numeral stored in the counter by 1 to determine whether or not the electrochemical gas sensor is degraded.
