<p>Disclosed is a heat exchanger made from an aluminum alloy, which has high corrosion resistance, enables the reduction in weight of one layer and cost, and is particularly suitable as an automotive heat exchanger. Specifically disclosed is a heat exchanger made from an aluminum alloy, which is produced by applying a mixture containing an Si powder and a fluoride flux onto the surface of a coolant passage tube made from an aluminum alloy, attaching a fin, and brazing the fin. The heat exchanger is characterized in the following matters: the coolant passage tube comprises an extrusion material made from an aluminum alloy comprising 0.5 to 1.7% of Mn, with the remainder being Al and unavoidable impurities; the fin comprises an aluminum alloy comprising 0.3 to 4.0% of Zn and 0.8 to 1.7% of Mn, with the remainder being Al and unavoidable impurities; and a Zn-diffused layer is formed on the surface layer of the coolant passage tube.</p> |
