<p>An acknowledgement processing method and a base station are provided in the invention. The invention relates to the field of mobile communications and solves the problem of transmission traffic reduction caused by the misjudgement of packet loss when retransmitting data using TCP. The method comprises: after determining the validity of the received ACK, querying the ACK duplicate times of the ACK, wherein the ACK duplicate times is stored in the ACK control block which matches the ACK; if the ACK duplicate times does not reach to the preset restraint threshold, adding one time to the ACK duplicate times and discarding the ACK. The technical solution provided in the invention is applicable to the network using the hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) retransmission mechanism.</p> |
