A storage cart (1) for transporting bulk material (2) is equipped with a container (7) resting inside a cart frame (6) instead of with a floor conveyor belt (8) arranged on a floor surface, said belt comprising a front discharge end (10) and a rear receiving end (9) in a transport direction (5). The floor conveyor belt (8) can be adjusted by drives (11) from a basic position (12) – suitable for receiving a maximum amount of bulk material in the container (7) – into a transfer position (13) – provided for forwarding bulk material (2) – relative to the container (7), in which the discharge end (10) is raised with respect to the receiving end (9).
