<p>The present invention discloses a method for sending a mobile television guide. The method includes: compressing the mobile television guide information and a Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language (SMIL) document, then converting said compressed mobile television guide information and SMIL document into a data broadcasting code stream, and broadcasting said data broadcasting code stream through a mobile television data broadcasting network; a mobile phone terminal receives said data broadcasting code stream, from which obtains the original compressed file, and constructs a Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) format file. The present invention also discloses a system for sending the mobile television guide and a mobile phone receiving terminal. Application of the present invention can enable the advantages of the Electronic Service Guide (ESG) and the common MMS to be combined, thus a large data quantity of television guide information can be sent, neither influencing loading speed nor generating flow cost of General Packet Radio Service (GPRS).</p> |
