The electrical heating device has an open housing with a housing upper part and a housing lower part. The housing lower part comprises the support elements (46) extending from its base. The housing upper part has a counter element (68) at the support element. The support element and the counter element act together with a spring element (54) during closing the housing. The spring element is made of plastic. The spring element is clamped between the support element and the counter element.
