<p>The device has cutting knives arranged around a periphery of a separation disk (2), where the knives have two cutting edges (3, 3'). The edges are arranged in plane of respective front-sides of the disk. Two counter knifes have third and fourth cutting edges that are aligned on the respective front sides of the disk. The disk is formed from two mirror-symmetric disk parts (12, 12') that are arranged relative to one another with an angular displacement. The disk parts are assembled on one another in a congruent manner, so that part-cuts are carried out in synchronous manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for separating continuously conveyed paper sheets in a separation direction.</p> |
