<p>The present invention discloses a method and apparatus for additional information transmission and reception. The method for additional information transmission includes: the transmission end substitutes multiple additional information bits of additional information to be transmitted for multiple secondary bits of a first voice frame to be transmitted and forms a second voice frame, wherein values of the multiple secondary bits do not affect the voice quality of the first voice frame; the transmission end transmits the second voice frame to the reception end. According to the present invention, the method for carrying additional information in a voice frame adequately utilizes the relative redundancy of data packet parameters in wireless communications to transfer synchronization information. The transfer of additional information is executed in a situation of adding no more burden to a base station.</p> |
